Treasury Sales Officer II

Job Description:

Treasury Sales Officer within Global Commercial Bank’s NJ Market with primary responsibility and coverage for Northern NJ and support of select clients/prospects within Southern NJ. Responsibilities include the GTS relationship management, retention, prospecting, cross-sell and  profitable  revenue growth for clients within the defined market portfolio. Transaction services to be represented encompass all payables (inclusive of Card Services), receivables, liquidity and information reporting solutions – for US and International Markets. Respond to all Client related inquiries for services through proposal generation, presentation preparation and Client facing/virtual meetings.  The TSO leads pricing and negotiation discussions with the client for TM products to optimize relationship profitability for the portfolio.  Actively participate in all Client Management protocols, planning and Market sessions. Interact and engage with all Product partners (Card, FX, Trade and Liquidity) and functional partners (implementation, client services, risk, credit). Represent BAML within defined Market by attending and/or hosting Client events including Financial Services Industry functions (AFP/NYCE, Fraud, Innovation and Digital transformation strategies). Maintain and update all sales related systems and input all calling activity and insure accurate pipeline management. Participate on assigned project teams as requested and conduct all business activities within established protocols and in compliance with risk, credit, audit, expense and Line of Business requirements/guidelines. Comply with BofA’s Code of Conduct and insure Client, Market and Franchise risks are mitigated.

Required Skills:

  • 5-10 years of demonstrated sales performance and portfolio management within Treasury Management.
  • Comprehensive product knowledge of all referenced solutions – payables, receivables, liquidity and information.
  • Strong knowledge of Treasury/Cash Management Industry trends – US and Globally.
  • Advisory and Consultative sales approach and selling skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Strong business/financial acumen.
  • Relationship management and collaboration skills.
  • Effectively manage risk in conjunction with the needs of the client, team and BofA.
  • Microsoft Office – emphasis on excel and powerpoint.
  • Bachelor’s Degree

Desired Skills:

  • International Cash Management and Trade & Supply Chain Finance experience.
  • Strong understanding of working capital metrics and the cash conversion cycle.
  • Ability to articulate the impact and benefits emerging from the design of digital/innovative solutions in Treasury space.
  • Motivated to continuously improve processes and/or one’s own education.
  • Exercises the desire to mentor and sponsor other Associates. 
  • Certified Treasury Professional certification or equivalent.
