• At least 2 year’s industry experience gained while working in a brokerage firm or investment bank is preferable but not essential for this position
• The successful candidate will ideally have settlements experience in cash equity or fixed income.
• Candidates must be analytical in nature, possesses high risk awareness and strong problem solving and communication skills, creative, show initiative and have a mature approach to business
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

What you can expect

Reporting to the AVP for IPB Settlements, the Operations Analyst will be responsible for performing onshore and cross-border settlement for Asian markets and involved in the settlement of Cash Equity & Fixed Income products. Key objective would be to ensure Settlements are completed accurately and on time and client inquiries are responded properly and promptly.

What you will do

• Performing onshore & cross-border settlements in Australia, Taiwan and India market for Prime Brokerage & Global Custody Business
• Manage exception queues and ensure all valid trades are released to Custodians for settlement
• Inventory Management
• Perform Trades Pre-matching before Value Date
• Follow up on Fails and investigate and resolve outstanding settlement items
• Liaise with internal / external clients and local custodians
• Perform reconciliation of stock and cash accounts
• Investigate and resolve breaking items
• New Custody Account setups
• Produce ad hoc management reporting
• Participate in UATs and Project initiatives
