Merrill Premium Investment Consultants work with our active self-directed clients, ensuring that they have the tools and resources to navigate their financial lives - whether they are just starting out, buying a home, building a family or planning for retirement. Premium Investment Consultants demonstrate knowledge of investments and financial markets needed to assist our Premium clients with all their servicing and trading needs. Through a call center environment, Investment Consultants will leverage the Bank of America and Merrill offering model and collaborate with business partners when appropriate. This position is posted as a Band 5 but is flexible to be filled as a Band 6 position.
Enterprise Role Overview:
Investment Consultant IIs are phone-based licensed representatives that provide prospects and self-directed investors with financial assistance by identifying broader product and service solutions that meet their investment and savings needs. Investment Consultants demonstrate knowledge of investments and financial markets and apply key principles appropriately to the individual clients investment needs. Additionally, they align Merrill and Bank of America products and services where appropriate. Licensing requirements are as follows: Series 7, 66 or their equivalent. This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements. Pursuant to the SAFE Act requirements, all employees engaged in residential loan mortgage originations must register with the federal registry system and remain in good standing. Since your position requires SAFE Act registration, you will be required to register and to submit to the required SAFE Act background check and registration process. Failure to obtain and/or maintain SAFE Act registration may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.
