GWIM Sr. Operations Representative

Job Description:

Processes routine/standard transactions according to established procedures and prescribed processes in support of GWIM Operations. Daily responsibilities will cover one or more operations functional areas such as: analyses, report generation, opening new accounts, trade processing, payment processing, data entry, etc. Provides quality service and effective and efficient operations support for the assigned area's internal business partners and/or external customers and clients. May provide advice and assist with training for less experienced team members. Individuals at this level are expected to use some independence of thought but to refer more complex problems to Operations Team Manager and/or Supervisor. Generally 1 year or more experience is preferred.

Responsible for supporting various operational processes requiring preparation and fulfillment of requests from Private Bank Client Teams. Interacts and communicates with all levels to provide or communicate updates for Client base. Understanding of accounting transactions, problem resolution and attention to detail and various risk related steps that required daily evidence and documentation. Understanding of Documentation/Inbound mail support, Indexing and Scanning of mail, Check printing and check research and complex transaction posting. Ability to summarize and provide responses to inquiries from Operations and Client Teams.

Required Skills: 
•Proficient in PC applications: Excel; Word and Outlook
•Highly motivated, self-starter and possess the ability to work independently
•Acute attention to detail
•Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment
•Must be able to work well under pressure and exercise sound judgment and adhere to all regulatory and compliance requirements.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Candidate is expected to demonstrate leadership qualities, flexibility and be a team player
Must be willing and available to work onsite.
Must be able to lift up to 25lbs and able to move around throughout the shift.  Standing, walking, bending, stretching necessary.  
 
Desired skills/experience/education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred
• Mail handling for large company or business, where multiple P.O. Boxes are utilized
• Remittance processing or bank by mail type experience
Strong reconciliation and/or research and customer service capabilities
• Recent customer service or line of business support where inquiries were managed electronically or by phone, where the employee activity input and managed the request using a case management system to document the inquiry and final results
• Understanding of banking deposits and how to determine if the deposit slip and checks match
• Recent experience working within a team of individuals responsible for multiple deadlines, where each member of the team is required to participate to complete the day
• Experience interacting with various levels of employees in the company or business
