Software Engineer III- Angular UI Developer

Job Description:

Seeking a Software Engineer III- Angular UI Developer professional, who will be responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements in Angular/Java to accomplish business goals. One of the key responsibilities of this role is ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements. This role ensures solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset. This individual should possess strong proficiency in development and testing practices common to the industry, and have extensive experience of using design and architectural patterns.

Scope of the Project:

Workflow Simplification is a Multi-year Enterprise Workflow Transformation program at Bank of America to introduce open-source workflow solutions platform as an alternative to current workflow platforms. The goal of this program is to:

  • Build Strategic, Self-Serve, Configurable and Horizontal Simplified Workflow Platform for Consumer Operations to manage Customer requests effective and efficiently.

  • Drive Workflow Transformation effort across Consumer Operations to rationalize existing workflows, Build horizontal capabilities supported by shared resources, use common interfaces and establish best practices increasing speed to market and decreasing tech cost.

Additional Duties/Responsibilities:

•Contribute to story refinement/defining requirements.
•Participate and guide team in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle.
•Perform spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas.
•Code solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.
•Utilize multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirements.
•Assist team with resolving technical complexities involved in realizing story work.
•Design/develop/modify architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained.
•Design/develop/maintain automated test suites (integration, regression, performance).
•Set up and develop a continuous integration/continuous delivery pipeline.
•Automate manual release activities.
•Mentor other Software Engineers and coach team on CI-CD practices and automating tool stack.

 

Required Skills:
• Must have strong experience in Angular and upgrades.
• Experience in Generating Config driven Dynamic Forms using Web Components.
• In depth knowledge of user interface development tech stack and frameworks such as, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, Typescript, NodeJS etc.
• Experience in development of interactive front-end part of various web and mobile apps, especially single-page applications, dynamic/guided forms and high-performance angular software.
