Senior Technology Manager

Pennington, New Jersey;

Job Description:

In this role, the individual will lead a large technology Organization for Financial Advisor Compensation. The successful candidate will be responsible for overall platform, systems design, technical architecture and development for existing and target state platforms.
Accountable for platform stability and overall production support.  The ideal candidate will have a balance of technical and business acumen to help drive the technology enablement for our key stakeholders while adhering to our Software Delivery Methodology (SDM) system leveraging agile methodology.

Required Skills:

  • 10+ years of Digital/Wealth Management experience in a professional services organization, and/or highly relevant industry experience in project leadership & business process improvement and Strategic Planning and Delivery, Technology, Operations, or Finance.

  • Manage and support large, complex business engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business solutions and technology solutions for Wealth.

  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills and who can navigate the organization, challenges the status quo to transform the business and bring multiple stakeholders together to achieve strategic business goals.

  • Lead current state assessments of business challenges and build improvement roadmaps.

  • Experience leading large teams and developing team members. Willingness and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

  • Strong knowledge of application development and architecture and overall system design. Seasoned technologist able to build and work in an Agile environment.

  • Excellent partner & teammate to peers; can influence & resolve across technology and business organizational lines.

  • Experience in building enterprise solutions with core technology tools such as .Net, Angular or REACT, Databases - DB2/Oracle.

  • Work history demonstrating a sense of personal accountability to drive execution from start to finish.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience building applications which are deployed on cloud using Test Driven Methodology and CI/CD.

  • Has actively participated in career development activities and technical training of staff.
