Your background

  • Strong knowledge of Core Python and Java
  • Working knowledge in SQL, XML, JSON, OpenFin, HTML5, React, Redux, Node.js is desirable.
  • You should have sound knowledge of relational databases
  • You should have worked on source control system, knowledge of build scripts and deployment framework like Jenkins.
  • You have a good understanding and working experience on Unix platform
  • You should have knowledge of general fixed income trading concepts and risk measures
  • Knowledge of Fixed Income Products (e.g. Bond, CDS) preferred
  • You shouldd possess good problem solving skills, ability to logically define a problem and find solutions, should be strong communicator.
  • Knowledge and experience working in Agile development methodology will be an advantage

An exciting opportunity has become available for a developer to join Bank of America Trading Solutions technology team in Hong Kong. You will be part of a regional team working on a global suite of trading analytics and risk reporting applications supporting the Global Fixed Income Credit business. You will have the opportunity to work directly with the traders, business partners, stakeholders and other technology teams to deliver technology solutions. Drive delivery within an Agile framework, with end-to-end ownership from requirement analysis, system design and implementation.

What you will do

  • Primary responsibility will be developing next generation of strategic global trading analytics and risk reporting solutions.
  • You will collaborate with Hong Kong development team on business driven requests and projects for regional stakeholders from the front office.
  • Drive delivery within an Agile framework, with end-to-end ownership from requirement analysis, system design and implementation.
  • Work with regional and global partners to build on domain knowledge required to deliver on regional deliverables.
  • Work with regional and global support partners to provide timely response to business production queries and outages.
  • Follow banks SDLC best practices and take ownership of deliverables.
  • Attend meeting with global partners from time to time
