Job brief

  • To ensure Network Services function within the BOFA established risk framework
  • Primary interface, on behalf of network services, the relationships with Internal & External audit, Compliance, Enterprise risk and key partners. Escalation point where necessary.
  • Simplify and optimize our network services standalone processes  to ensure sustainability, effectiveness and compliance to Laws rules and regulations
    • Process creation
    • Process sustainability
    • Network standard
  • Tracking & Reporting of both the Identification and resolution of risk within Network services and resolution

  • Responsibilities

  • Establish and adhere to a set of written policies that include front line unit risk limits, which are reviewed and approved by independent risk management and which ensure risks associated with the front line unit’s activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored and controlled
  •  Establish and adhere to procedures and processes, as necessary, to maintain compliance with the policies
  •  Adhere to all applicable policies, procedures and processes established by independent risk management, including compliance with risk limits
  •  Proactively assess its capabilities to manage all risk types and determine if actions need to be taken to strengthen front line unit management of risk
  •  Self-identify material shortcomings and required improvements in risk management capabilities consistent with our goal to find issues and remediate them in a timely manner
  •  Proactively and fully assess all risks, including compliance and operational risks, associated with its activities and adjust its risk profile as needed

    Requirements

  • Experience as a Risk/control  Manager

    Knowledge of risk assessment and control

    Experience with auditing and reporting procedures

    Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude

    Excellent communication and presentation skills

    Professional Risk Manager (PRM) certification is a plus
