Your background

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong, proven ability to read, write and speak fluently in English
  • Superior writing skills with strong attention to detail
  • Quick-thinking and response time during crisis events
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proven ability to operate effective in a high pressure and time sensitive environment
  • Superior research skills and familiarity with performing open source research
  • Strong familiarity with social media networking tools
  • Strong geographical knowledge of Asia Pacific region and real world events that impact the region.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing tasks and prioritizing accordingly
  • Must be able to work 1st shift hours (6:30am – 3:00pm) Sunday – Thursday and flexible schedule as required.

What you can expect

Threat Mitigation and Executive Protection’s Research and Event Monitoring (REM) team monitors, tracks and reports on intelligence and media sources on an ongoing basis for events of significance, loosely defined as events that have the potential to, or are already impacting Bank of America facilities, operations or employees, or a significant event that may cause questioning from senior leadership. The team will use their gathered information to quickly alert and ensure awareness to additional lines of business through direct communication and alert notification.

What you will do

  • Functions as a crisis/breaking news reporter during incidents with the potential to impact Bank of America employees, operations or assets.
  • Quick to verify real-time news as it happens and be able to write a concise and accurate business report to be distributed within minutes to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Directly monitors and initially reports on incidents that fall within defined parameters.
  • Work closely with Regional Intelligence Analysts for additional gathering, vetting and review of information.
  • Researches, collects and reports security intelligence for an identified geography or topic under direct management.
  • Supports Intelligence and Analysis team with routine/ad-hoc requirements as directed.
