LOB Job Description:

Desktop Platform Engineering resource assigned with design and implementation of next generation Wealth Management desktop platform within the firm. This person must have extensive knowledge and applied on the job experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems, as well as packaging technologies, virtualization, and telemetry tools. This position will also require understanding of a dispersed Branch Office technical environment, with an understanding of networking tools and terminology. Experience with windows imaging technologies, specifically Microsoft Configuration Manager, is required. Understanding of release management workflows and toolsets is highly desired.
Required Skills:

  • Engineering and design within packaging / OS delivery tools; Microsoft Configuration Manager, Flexera Admin Studio, Microsoft AppV
  • Analyzing and debating business use case scenarios and determine best toolset and design for each scenario
  • Document engineering design and operational procedures for design within tools
  • Executing tasks supporting branch office projects / initiatives
