Business Control Manager

Job Description:

In this individual contributor role, the candidate would be responsible for the oversight, participation and successful completion of CSA-BISO Risk/Issues, Audit and Regulatory engagements. Individual will work closely with cross functional teams, GIS Divisional leads, Subject Matter Experts, SLT and Risk partners to construct time sensitive deliverables and execute on legal, regulatory and enterprise risk requirements. Responsibilities include engagement and materials creation in preparation for senior level reviews, regulatory exams, and other associated risk reporting. The candidate will engage with senior leaders and represent the team in both internal GIS and external forums and working groups and is expected to establish, develop, and manage key partnerships across GIS. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for supporting risk and issues management, governance, and improvement of GIS CSA-BISO functions. The goals of the position will be to:                                                                                                          

•Centrally manage external engagements inclusive of tracking, oversight, and reporting of items/issues related to ongoing MRA responsibilities
•Leverage thematic engagement results to drive vertical priorities
•Understand various points of engagement and supports teams in responding to Regulatory/Audit requests
•Identify and escalates risks within the vertical team + oversees vertical delivery of Audit / Issue commitments                                                                                                                                                      

•Provide horizontal oversight on Regulatory/Audit responses to drive consistency in responses

Required Skills:
• Cyber security or information security domain knowledge 
• 8+ year of risk management experience (Regulatory, Operational Risk, Compliance) with proven ability to effectively apply risk principles to complex business situations
• Experience presenting to senior leaders and proficiency in constructing executive level reporting
• Experience working on MRAs, Consent Orders or Regulatory Deliverables
• Self starter, highly organized, excellent time management skills and ability to juggle multiple, competing priorities 
• Exhibit strong relationship management and interpersonal skills 
• Influence horizontally and vertically across the organization and diverse audiences with varying degrees of technical understanding

Colorado pay range:

$120,000 - $156,000 annualized salary, offers to be negotiated based on experience, education and skill set.
