Global Market Financial Risk -Tableau & SharePoint Developer

Charlotte, North Carolina;

Job Description:

The Global Market Financial Risk CFO Risk team is looking for a strong, self-motivated  Tableau & SharePoint Developer to become an integral part of the Data & Analytics function.

Responsibilities include:

  • Build comprehensive dashboards and reports using Tableau Desktop

  • Perform development activities from gathering requirements and designing solutions, through developing code / reports, to testing and release / deployment

  • Research and identify needs, goals, and business models by collaborating with the end users, stakeholders and support partners

  • Implementing ad-hoc / customized solutions within SharePoint Designer for CFO Risk owned SharePoint  Portals

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for BAU Tasks and supporting current technology initiatives

  • Review, assess current state and identify improvement opportunities and best practice recommendations

  • Define, establish and lead effective routines and reporting mechanisms to drive the maturation of service operations

  • Excellent communication skills (must be able to interface with both technical and business leaders in the organization)

  • Excellent requirements gathering skills

  • Ability to be a self-starter that can provide leadership and data visualization solutions

Required Skills:

  • Proven advanced skill and experience with Tableau development with version 2019+

  • Experience with utilizing scripting languages to leverage Tableau's APIs (JavaScript API, Data Extract API, REST API)

  • Proficient with querying languages, such as PL-SQL

  • Candidates must have 3+ years of Business Intelligence experience.

  • Considerable BI development experience

  • Problem solving / troubleshooting experience /skills to assist Production Support in issue resolution

  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects while meeting deadlines and documenting progress towards those deadlines

    
Desired Skills:

  • Experience with industry toolsets including Tableau, SharePoint, Oracle, Excel, MicroStrategy

  • Experience with connecting to Oracle, Teradata, and SQL databases.

  • Experience with programming languages, JavaScript, JQuery, Excel-VBA, Python etc.
