Business Support Manager - Boston

Job Description:

Leads diverse administrative functions usually for a very large, complex department or business unit. Functions may include: financial control/budgeting and consolidation, personnel processes, audit/compliance, premises, and coordination of certain projects, associate training, service quality, process improvement, business continuity, or communication. May consult with senior management to define and lead projects that encompass and impact many associates. Requires a thorough knowledge of the department or business unit's functional area or products. Working knowledge of general bank policies, programs and procedures and financial/accounting practices. May provide workflow direction.

Responsibilities include

  • Managing administrative projects in support of GBAM & Global Commercial Banking AML program
  • Supports Global Commercial Banking AML Executive including calendar management, team meeting agendas and other business support related activities
  • Works with reporting and analytics team to provide analysis and reporting that supports strategy and performance management
  • Maintains Share-point and resource sites that have high usage and used broadly across organization
  • Develops and distributes communications; ie monthly newsletter, announcements and reward and recognition points
  • Develops power point presentations for multitude of audiences including Executive Level presentations
  • Support risk mitigation and governance activities that may vary in risk and complexity

Required skills:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of strong administrative and project management experience
  • Ability to work across multiple functional teams to set direction, build consensus and solve problems
  • Strong multi-task and organizational skills
  • Ability to work with individuals at all levels within organization
  • Able to lead projects to completion with minimal management oversight
  • Strong in Microsoft Office suite skills, particularly with Excel, PowerPoint; able to put together reports/decks, SharePoint, Access, and Visio
  • Ability to work in dynamic and fast pace environment; remaining flexible, focused and calm to meet deliverables

  • Able to communicate in a clear, concise manner
  • A self-starter with ambition and drive and exhibits ability to proactively follow up and get results
