Process Overview*

Shared Technology Services (STS) is a technology group providing solutions to the Global Business services group, which in turn caters to multiple Business like Consumer Wealth Solutions, Global Markets, etc.  Major offerings of STS includes providing Technical experts spanning ETL, Dot Net, Mainframe etc. with varying competency skills as per need.

Job Description*

The Individual will be a part of Shared Technology Services STS providing ETL platform based solutions to multiple lines of business. Following established written procedures, guidelines and techniques, develops, enhances, tests, supports, maintains, and debugs software applications that support business units or support functions. Individual contributor role; fully competent to work under general direction for the most of low to moderate complex projects and seeks guidance and technical direction from more senior associates or leads, as needed. Meet functional and non-functional requirements. Often responsible for the completion of a phase of a project.

Responsibilities*

  • Write & execute SQL scripts to support ETL activities and sampling – expert level
  • Trifacta knowledge- (certification Knight, Wrangler)
  • Develop and debug SQL as and when required 
  • Ensure adherence to the agreed SLA’s / Metrics – productivity, turn-around-time and accuracy
  • Ensure timely resolutions of queries/clarifications
  • Prepare results, reports and dashboards; present it to On-Shore partners
  • Responsible for ongoing execution and delivery of samples across all work streams
  • Work independently with minimal less oversight/assistance
  • Validate the current risk and compliance procedures and identify probable gaps and issues in the existing procedures
  • Identify, ideate and implement potential areas for process improvement
  • Impart trainings to the team and mentoring fellow teammates
  • Act as an SME and SPOC in absence of the team manager

Informatica Developer

 Experience Range*

4  - 7  yrs

Foundational skills*

  • SQL and/or SAS / SSIS
  • Trifacta
  • ETL Informatica  / Datastage.
  • Strong audit skills to review SAS/MS-SQL/Other query scripts to understand data filter logic
  • Experience in workflow management tool like JIRA
  • Strong audit skills to review MS-SQL/Other query scripts to understand data filter logic
  • Strong Documentation Skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication as well as interpersonal skills
  • Strong stakeholder management
  • Strong research, analytic, reasoning and problem solving skills
  • Ability to recommend and implement process control improvements.
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite with experience in Excel and Excel VBA
  • Strong customer service focus and time management skills
