SOACC Intelligence Specialist Research and Event Monitoring - 3rd shift

Job Description:

Global Corporate Security's (GCS) Research and Event Monitoring (REM) team monitors, tracks and reports on intelligence and media sources on an ongoing basis for events of significance, loosely defined as events that have the potential to, or are already impacting Bank of America facilities, operations or employees, or a significant event that may cause questioning from the senior leadership. The team will use their gathered information to quickly alert and ensure awareness to additional lines of business through direct communication and alert notifications.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Functions as crisis/breaking news reporter during incidents with the potential to impact Bank of America employees, operations or assets.

  • Quick to verify real-time news as it happens and be able to write a concise and accurate business report to be distributed within minutes to senior leadership and key stakeholders.

  • Directly monitors and initially reports on incidents that fall within the defined parameters.

  • Work closely with Regional Intelligence Analysts for additional gathering, vetting and review of information.

  • Researches, collects and reports security intelligence for an identified geography or topic under direct management, team lead supervision or Senior Intelligence Analyst.

  • Supports Intelligence and Analysis Team with routine/ad-hoc requirements as directed.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience)

  • Superior writing skills with strong attention to detail

  • Quick-thinking and response time during crisis events

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Proven ability to operate effectively in a high pressure and time sensitive environment

  • Superior research skills and familiar with performing open source research

  • Strong familiarity with social media networking tools

  • Professional demeanor

  • Demonstrated team player

  • Positive attitude

  • Ability to manage multiple competing tasks and prioritizing accordingly

  • Must be able to work 3rd shift hours (10:30pm-7:00am EST) and flexible schedule as required
