Your background

• 5+ years of experience in Corporate Actions, ideally a client facing role. Knowledge of the Prime Brokerage business is preferred.
• Demonstrates leadership excellence, (1) Ensure excellent performance in their current role; (2) Ability to liaise with all levels of the firm and people with different experiences and backgrounds; (3) Ability to work under pressure (4) Effectively leading the team to achieve desired goals.
• The role will demand that the candidate is a good communicator as the function entails frequent interaction with business partners, clients and global teams. Client facing experience or ability to conduct discussions with clients in a confident manner.
• Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised. Candidate will be able to manage own time and know when to escalate.
• Role model for the team and take accountability of issues
• Ability to evaluate the risk considerations and ensure tasks are carried out in a controlled fashion.
• Able to work in a fast paced environment and have the ability to prioritize and multi-task under pressure.
• Experience working in a global environment with outsourced partners would also be considered as a benefit.

What you can expect

The APAC Asset Services department is responsible Corporate Actions events relating to Equity and Fixed Income products.
The position is to be team lead in Asset Services PB Direct where he/she will have the exposure to liaise directly with Prime Brokerage clients on their queries and request related to APAC Corporate Actions /Dividend events. He/She will be working very closely with the Global Asset Services teams as part queries resolution. 
This is high profile position where candidate will have opportunity to build relationship with Prime Brokerage business directly.
 

What you will do

• Lead and manage day to day client queries as the primary contact and face-off
• Client focused and engage in building and fostering good relationship with new/existing clients in the PB Direct model
• Work with various internal teams, coordinate and formulate resolution for clients
• Proactively working with PB Client Service team to drive the ongoing review of clients and our PB Direct offering: (1) Responsible for the analysis and resolution of complex CA problems and initiatives requiring exception handling and/or coordination of multiple teams to resolve; (2) Responding to exceptions raised by clients and liaising with multiple functions globally to resolve issues; (3) Communicate and educate clients in relation to regulatory and industry changes; (4) Coordinate and liaise with internal teams in APAC, EMEA and US to provide coverage and support for global clients; (5) Participate in client visits (if required)
(6) Come out with metrices to analyze trend and queries volume
• Participate and manage projects to delivery, continuous Improvement of the Operating Environment with regards to STP, risk and control: (1) Partners Closely with Technology, Operations & Front Office to drive change; (2) Continuous improvement of the operations environment and client support model, with an STP focus. (3) Explore potential synergies across PB Direct model globally ; (5) Participate and manage projects and/or introduction of new initiatives, systems, products/services and processes to delivery.
