Senior Financial Analyst-Global Tech and Ops Finance

Charlotte, North Carolina

Job Description:

The GTO Central FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis) team is responsible for the development of executive reporting for Global Technology & Operations (GT&O), a $14B organization with 90K+ resources, including the Technology Initiatives portfolio, Tech Applications and Infrastructure, Operational departments, and Global Business Services, in support of the revenue-generating lines of business.  Specific team responsibilities include the management of month-end close reporting, story-telling of forecast changes, production of executive business reviews and CFO Sr. Leadership Team (SLT) allocations reporting, and the opportunity to drive operational excellence across the broader GT&O Finance team.  High exposure and ability to refine executive presentation skills.

Responsibilities of this individual may include the following:

  • GT&O Direct Expense reporting, consolidation, and analytics

  • Alteryx process management in deliverables such as allocations reporting, organizational/funding transfers, and legal entity forecasting

  • Partnership with a myriad of Finance stakeholders (GT&O, Staff Support, LOB Finance, Corporate Planning)

  • Opportunity to both own processes end-to-end, and collaborate across teammates in high exposure deliverables

  • Simply and Improve team (SIM) Lead including both project management and idea generation across FP&A teammates and partners

Required Skills:

  • BA/BS Degree preferable in Finance/Accounting

  • Experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) / consolidation roles

  • Experience with Hyperion/Essbase

  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint

  • Team player with a strong drive

  • Intellectual curiosity, willingness to challenge the status quo

Desired Skills:

  • Strong relationship building and influencing skills

  • Experience with emerging technology tools (particularly Alteryx)
