Process Overview

Enterprise Technology Infrastructure (Enterprise TI) provides end-to-end technology solutions for Enterprise TI applications including Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), COREIT, Corporate Audit and GT&O Business Technology, Corporate Treasury, Enterprise Credit Risk, Finance Technology, GIS Cyber Security Technology, Global Human Resources, Global Markets Risk, Global Risk Analytics, GRT, Internal, Legal, Model Risk,  Platforms and Tools.

Enterprise TI is engaged in over 800+ applications and across the complete spectrum of Application Development and Production Support. GBAMT’s type of work and services include architecture, design, development, change management, implementation and support using a wide range of technologies. Enterprise TI India team provides extensive support & deployment of these applications by adapting the ITIL processes.

Job Description

The Production Support Analyst is responsible for ensuring availability and reliability of assigned production applications within a line of business (LOBs) of Global Financial Crimes and Compliance. To perform this function, the Production Support Analyst performs daily tasks assigned by the Production Support Lead. These tasks are aligned to the key services outlined within the Global Support Services Service Catalog:

  • Monitoring
  • Incident Management
  • Request Management
  • Disaster Recovery / Application Recovery Certification Exercise
  • Metrics Reporting

Responsibilities

  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise for support of assigned applications
  • User and batch job issue resolution
  • Creating support documentation and updating existing documentation
  • Investigation of root cause analysis and irreversible corrective action
  • Will work closely with Business Partners and Development team
  • Hands on support of the applications
  • Disaster recovery test coordination, preparation and execution
  • Monitoring of daily batch processing
  • Initial troubleshooting and triage of production incidents

Requirements

Education: B.E. / B. Tech/M.E. /M. Tech/B.Sc./M.Sc./BCA/MCA (prefer IT/CS specialization)

Certifications, If Any: ITIL (Not Mandatory)

Experience Range: 6+ years

Foundational skills:

  • Java
  • Unix / Shell Scripting
  • Informatica
  • Oracle
  • Autosys

Desired skills:

  • Knowledge on Incident Management (ITSM Remedy, JIRA)
  • Knowledge on Hadoop would be added advantage.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • One or more Monitoring tools like Splunk, App Dynamics, ITRS
  • Willing to be flexible sometimes with providing stand-by out of hours support on rotational basis for production system (as needed)
  • Good understanding of financial/banking industry
  • Creative and strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to operate in high-pressure situations
  • Results oriented, and must be able to effectively interact with Senior Management and Business Partners

Work Timings: Rotational Shift (07:30 a.m. to 04:30 p.m. / 11:30 a.m. to 08:30 p.m.) and weekend shifts on rotational basis
