Quantitative Finance Analyst

Job Description:

Job responsibilities include:

  • -Application of analytical tools to extract and prepare forecast / back-testing data, assess data and model limitations and materiality on the forecast
  • -Conduct historical back-testing to prepare diagnostic overlays
  • -Propose judgmental overlays to address potential issues or business changes
  • -Organize and prepare development documentation and supporting materials
  • -Present to senior management and examiners
  • -Cross functional support for model development and business stakeholders
  • -Identify risks and issues to effectively troubleshoot
  • Contribute to strategic direction and develop new analytic tools and improve best practices

Required Skills:

  • Masters or PhD in a quantitative discipline (Economics, Statistics, Engineering, etc.)
  • 2+ Years of experience in forecasting, analysis or model development in a financial institution
  • High quality documentation and presentation materials using Microsoft office
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills in order to work with cross-functional teams
  • Programming with SAS, Python and other programming languages
  • Experience with SQL and querying large relational databases (DB2, Teradata, Hadoop)

  • Latex
  • Graphics using SAS ODS or Tableau
