Delivery Lead - Technology

Summary:

This Delivery Lead I Role will support the Operational Regulatory (Ops Reg) Program Office. The Ops Reg program office supports composite program that ensures global markets is up to date with critical industry mandates (i.e. OCC, T+1, DTCC M2I) or smaller regulatory changes (i.e. SRD II).

Key responsibilities of Delivery Lead includes but not limited to, communicating the work objectives, planning budgets, coordinating delivery, managing risks, ensuring compliance to standards, and providing end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables. This role supports program execution and that the project delivery meets the client’s expectations in terms of the functionality, quality, timeline and cost. They facilitate sync points across multiple BofA teams and external organization. A Delivery Lead I is an individual contributor at the program level.

Responsibilities:

  • Defining appropriate Program Governance framework and routines to support transparent reporting and decision making
  • Responsible for all program governance reporting and communication, for example, monthly governance materials and minutes, quarterly attestation, RPI Updates, Weekly Communication emails, etc.
  • Tracks and perform tracks weekly health checks utilizing automated tooling to ensure projects within the program are on plan, budget, and meeting program and enterprise change standards. Automated tooling are developed within the team.
  • Support annual financial year planning from initial project submission, prioritization, project budget allocation and resource planning.
  • On-board new projects into the program meeting the program and enterprise change standards
  • Assist project managers to protect project delivery timelines, such as driving collaboration across global markets stakeholders, supporting remediation of delivery issues, etc.

Required Skills:

  • Experience in delivering change within Global Markets.

  • Knowledge of processes, products and trade flows within markets and banking.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and associated products, specifically Excel, SharePoint and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with Excel, data capture, data manipulation and data presentation.
  • Communicate complexity with clear and concise messages through verbal and non-verbal mediums.
  • Demonstrate mature judgment in dealing with complexity and ambiguity, and can demonstrate balancing enterprise needs over individual client needs.
  • Have an “ownership” mind-set and use to taking collective responsibility for every decision, owning and managing errors and finding the right way.

Desired Skills:

  • Prior experience using data in a structured, methodical and organized manner and then presenting it in a simple meaningful way to leadership.

  • Demonstrate operational excellence through drive to constantly improve and streamline process, adding value where possible.
  • Translate complex concepts into multiple business and technology “views” aimed at varying audiences to drive decision making and planning.
  • Experience with industry specific initiatives such as CFTC, Dodd Frank, MIFID, Client Money, and other CCP and Regulatory mandates preferred, and experience of go-live deployments.
  • Fluent in working with end to end systems flow and business processes, including deep understanding of securities and derivatives products and processes.

Responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivery of defined deliverables which usually requires engagement from multiple teams such as a project or smaller program. Communicates the work objectives, coordinates delivery, manages risks, ensures compliance to standards, and provides end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables. Ensures execution and delivery meets the client’s expectations in terms of the functionality, quality, timeline and cost. Coordinates and facilitates routines to support delivery – e.g. kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, tollgates, etc. Plans and coordinates delivery and dependencies with across multiple teams. Facilitates dependency management/risk management/impediment removal for the defined deliverables. Promotes/facilitates communication and collaboration across organizations to support the deliverable completion and timeline. Gathers/facilitates status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks/issues, and schedule. Ensures that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements by working with the sponsor/stakeholders. Ensures deliverables comply with Enterprise Change Management standards. Supports resource planning for delivery/execution. Individual Contributor.
