Operations Project Consultant

Job Description:

Line of Business Position Description and Responsibilities:

Bank of America’s Client Education Design team includes interaction designers, graphic designers, researchers, strategic designers, design program managers, content strategists, design technologists and other creative professionals. The team is constantly iterating, solving problems, and working together to find ways all our digital platforms can empower customers to reach their financial goals in more customized, intuitive, innovative, engaging, secure, and time-saving ways. Major responsibilities to analyze, design and develop instructional content for learning solutions supporting for CashPro. Collaborates with Product Managers, Product Launch, and Technical support teams to design solutions to help meet client learning, product adoption, and business goals. Actively participates in the project development lifecycle employing a consultative approach through assessment of learning needs. Customizes learning and provides solutions that are in-context with the product and the business. These learning solutions may include, but are not limited to the development of online help, simulations (videos), instructor-led presentations, participant guides, virtual instructor-led learning, e-books, SharePoint design, intra-site development and reference guides. Requires a thorough knowledge of CashPro Product Support.

Instructional Designer should be able to master multiple projects. Ability to work independently and within a team, takes initiative to establish solid working relationships with management and the team they support. Proven leadership skills to work closely with team mates to ensure consistency and service levels are met. Excellent communication and follow up skills required. Is flexible and works well with on-going change. Must have excellent communication skills to partner with leadership team to help drive optimal performance. The candidate will be expected to establish and maintain partnerships with internal teammates, other support teams, and with the line of business to ensure performance is maximized and business goals are achieved. Candidate will be responsible for assisting in driving operational excellence.

Additional Responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced leader to work on creating user-centered experiences for digital platforms which CashPro and other emerging technologies

Lead teams of designers in creating visions, concepts, and selling partners on the great work the UX organization does

Create journey maps to show and tell the steps required to complete simple or complex tasks

Define information architecture, hierarchy, and workflow expressed as diagrams and screen schematics

Wire frame screens and control-action-response of every interactive element that makes up the human-computer interaction

Define system states and error recovery protocols

Be a brand evangelist optimizing for digital interfaces

Create look and feel of the interface through color, typeface, illustration, photography, and layout

Generate graphic design specifications for fonts, color, and layout and deliver graphical assets required to build interfaces

Implements the mechanical aspects of a conceptual design for development, testing, and deployment

Required Skills and Experience:

2-4 years’ experience with digital products

Proficient in PowerPoint

Detail oriented

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in communicating with all levels of management and business partners

Must be able to multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines

Ability to manage multiple projects in a complex and rapidly-changing environment

Ability to work independently as well as part of a virtual team

Desired Skills and Experience:

2+ years’ experience in digital design

Knowledge of digital media development software

CashPro knowledge a plus

Enterprise Role Overview:

Responsible for medium - large projects for an operations department, product or business unit. Provides consulting expertise to line managers on productivity issues, analyzes market and operational impact in the business brought about by the project parameters. Researches and documents organizational reviews, workflow analysis, management and staff analysis. Develops project plans including estimates of cost and resources required. Defines project scope to others outside of operations that may become involved in or impacted by the project. Requires a thorough knowledge of the operations area.
