Job Title: Global Liquidity Management Sr. Analyst

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Global Liquidity Management Senior Analyst to join the wider Global Liquidity Management team based in the Chester office. The Global Liquidity Management (GLM) team is responsible for the timely preparation of Liquidity reporting across the organisation with teams based across Global locations. The 14 team members based in Chester are specifically focused on all EMEA based reporting with requirements to regulators in the UK, Ireland and across the EU.

In GLM, associates have exposure to all of the various products in which the bank does business in EMEA. The team works closely with other areas of the finance team including Treasury Data Management, Line of Business finance as well as the Financial Controller team in order to develop a good working knowledge of the business operations as well as the various financial reporting capabilities and requirements therein.

The team also partners with the Global teams to work on the continued enhancement of the available technologies as well as sharing best practices on efficiency and operational excellence.

Your main responsibilities will involve:

  • Producing timely, accurate, complete and compliant liquidity reports and analytics.

  • Develop and provide expertise on liquidity drivers for specific products or legal entities.

  • Assists in laying out requirements for data sourcing and technology, and drives UAT.

  • Develop and maintain well controlled processes and procedures across reporting, working closely with second and third line partners to ensure compliance and employment of best in class controls.

  • Project work - involving a wide scope of possibilities:

    • Ad-hoc requests from Internal/External partners across the business.

    • Independence to creatively design, build, and improve your processes

Core Skills:

  • Good academic profile with a 2:1 degree or equivalent

  • Problem solving, analytical and reasoning skills, attention to detail, and an ability to “connect the dots”

  • Capacity to handle multiple tasks and work in a flexible environment

  • Time management and ability to meet SLAs and deadlines

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – particularly good excel skills

Preferred:

  • Bank of America / Treasury experience and/or a basic understanding of investment banking products

  • Experience in preparing Liquidity / Regulatory reports

  • ACCA, CIMA or ACA part or qualified accountant
