Job Description

The AI Solutions & Erica team is seeking a Performance Optimization Analyst to drive reporting & business intelligence and help advance ongoing development of Erica, our industry-leading virtual financial assistant and centralized intelligence framework.  This is a highly visible role that will be interfacing with senior business leaders on a routine basis to deliver actionable insights, analysis and mission critical reporting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data/analytics, a strong focus on driving business objectives and an ability to distill complex subject matter in a clear concise manner easily comprehended by key stakeholders and executive leadership across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering highly-visible analysis, performance KPIs and data visualizations for presentment to all levels of the organization
  • Driving the design, implementation & support of our data systems, including reporting solutions, interactive models/visualizations and self-service analytics to support business intelligence and decision making
  • Leading deep-dive analyses and making recommendations directly to leadership that will influence the strategic direction of our business
  • Develop data solutions end-to-end [from gathering requirements from business stakeholders to building solutions in partnership with product, analytics, and technology partners]
  • Identify areas where new tools can bring data into business processes to enable better decision-making

Required Skills

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and story-telling skills, including the ability to interface with all levels of the organization, leveraging advanced written, verbal and presentation skills                                                                                                                
  • Self-starter with natural curiosity for data, analytics, and AI
  • Ability to work independently; ability to 'figure things out' when answers are not readily available.
  • 3+ years of experience in 1 or more of the following reporting tools:  SQL, Tableau, Microstrategy
  • Highly detailed and analytical, with an understanding of digital & financial services businesses
  • Ability to deliver across a varied set of priorities, both planned and ad-hoc
  • Able to prioritize work in a deadline-intensive environment and resolve issues with a “can-do” attitude and sense of urgency
  • Passion and willingness to constantly evolve technical tool belt by learning the newest cutting edge technologies

Desired Skills

  • Experience with Hadoop and Python a plus
  • Experience understanding banking transaction data and Mobile App operations
  • Strong knowledge of consumer banking and financial services, accounts and product types
