VP, Data and Innovation Group – Low Touch Data & Content Team

Job Description:

BofA Securities’ Low Touch Data & Content team sits within the Data and Innovation Group.

The goal of this global team is to provide collaborative and scalable products to our franchise clients as well as our internal Trading, Sales and Structuring desks.

Quantitative Analysts in the Team work on diverse projects aiming at developing systematic data and content products to provide clients and internal desk with new metrics making use of the bank’s resources across different teams and departments, understanding the interaction between client behavior, market liquidity and trends, investment performance, and risk.

They work independently or as part of teams and take a leading role in generating new project ideas and initiatives. Active engagement in the communication and promotion of the group’s work is a further integral part of the role. 

Qualifications

  • A strong academic background in a quantitative subject (Finance, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science or other analytical background)
  • Multi-Factor models knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong programming experience, esp. Python with good knowledge in statistical/computational packages and visualization library.
  • You'll need to demonstrate drive, innovation and a genuine interest in the financial markets
  • Team-working, leadership and problem-solving skills, plus creativity are key qualities, as is the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task and interact with a variety of people
  • Demonstrates Accountability and Productivity
  • Displays analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Influences decisions and outcomes through effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Promotes cooperation and commitment within a team environment to achieve goals and deliverables
