Information Security Engineer

The Cyber Security Technology (CST) function within Global Information Security is responsible for innovation and architecture, engineering, solutions and capabilities development, deployment maintenance and support of information technology security controls. The CST team is also responsible for the management of the program/project management teams.

The Network Security Engineer has accountability for researching, designing, engineering, implementing, and supporting network security solutions. You will utilize in-depth technical knowledge and business requirements to help design and implement a secure solution. 

You will regularly collaborate with experts both in country and in other regions, so excellent communication skills and patience are very important. If you are seeking a demanding role within Global Information Security (GIS) and have the required skills, this will be a great opportunity for you. Typically, applicants should have 5 to 7 years of cybersecurity and network engineering experience.

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in security and network engineering discipline
• Solid experience configuring, deploying, installing, and troubleshooting network and network security devices in internet facing environments.  
• Ability to quickly diagnose the problem areas and come up with solutions and/or workarounds
Ability to understand the requirements and analyze the technical feasibility and design against the requirements.
• Able to work effectively with remote locations including onsite/offshore stakeholder streams 
• Knowledge and experience architecting complex enterprise cybersecurity solutions
• Experience coordinating delivery of project/changes milestones, ensures projects stay on target, escalating and identifying roadblocks.

Looking for a specialist with a lot of experience with internet facing security tools and networking protocols 

5+ years of experience in security discipline
• Experience with designing and deploying security solutions such as Firewalls, DDoS solutions,  IDS/IPS, WAF, Proxies, NAC, DLP, and Malware inspections solutions
• Knowledge and experience architecting complex enterprise cybersecurity solutions
• Knowledge of networking, network segmentation, network access control technologies, and software defined networking.
• Strong analytical skills/problem solving/conceptual thinking.
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to quickly diagnose the problem areas and come up with solutions and/or workarounds
• Ability to understand the requirements and analyze the technical feasibility and design against the requirements.

$93,500 - $132,000 annualized salary, offers to be negotiated based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the Corporate Performance Incentive Plan. Qualified employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual results and behaviors performance at year-end (limited roles may also qualify for incentives during performance year).
