Business Overview

BofA Securities has one of the largest corporate client footprints globally which we leverage to market currency and interest rate derivative solutions to solve risk management issues for these clients and generate revenue for the bank.

Rates & Currencies Solutions

An integrated sales team, with offices in San Francisco, New York, Charlotte, Boston, and Chicago, responsible for providing hedging strategies for underlying foreign exchange and interest rate exposures, collaborating across the Global Commercial Bank (GCB) and the Global Corporate & Investment Bank (GCIB) regularly updating and informing clients on relevant news and activity related to global markets.

Overview

Analysts are active deal team members responsible for pricing and executing transactions for clients across global regions & industries, working closely with trading and Relationship Managers in GCIB and GCB. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Prepare client pitch materials, fixed/floating capital structure analysis, currency exposures, economic and market updates
  • Responsible for trade modeling, execution, booking and processing
  • Work alongside senior marketers to provide interest rate and currency risk management advice to clients
  • Develop an understanding across a variety of products such as FX forwards, options, cross currency swaps, interest rate swaps, caps, floors, etc.
  • Work closely with Relationship Managers, Wholesale Credit, Risk and Global Markets Trading partners

Qualifications

  • BS/BA required, concentration in finance or related degree preferred
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills; focus on attention to detail
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office programs, familiarity with market data sources
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a dynamic market driven environment, and work with multiple people while balancing priorities  
  • Strong work ethic, initiative, and deep desire to learn and strengthen individual skill set
  • Previous experience in Markets and/or Finance
  • Intellectually curious with strong problem solving skills
  • Leadership skills and ability to be a critical thinker
