The Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities (FICC) & Derivative Core Operations (FDCO) team perform end to end trade control, confirmation and settlements processes across FICC businesses and provides utility OTC derivative confirmation and settlement services for non FICC businesses.

Within FDCO, the teams provide multiple services such as FICC trade control, Foreign Exchange (FX) electronic matching and settlement, Over the Counter (OTC) derivative confirmation and settlement, and commodities operations.

We are looking for a talented, innovative and ambitious individual to join the EMEA FX & Options Trade Control team, based in our Chester Campus. FX & Options Trade Control is a global organization supporting all FX and Option Trading with associates in Singapore, Hyderabad, Gurgaon, Chester, London, Charlotte and Houston.

You will work directly with the Global Head of FX and Option Trade Control and be responsible for FX Trade Support and Trade Control functions across EMEA whilst maintaining strong links to the Trade Control teams in APAC & AMRS. You will be a Key member of the Global FX and Option Trade Control Leadership Team and will have significant internal stakeholder exposure to Trading, Sales, Finance, Technology and Operations. 

As well as the effective running, risk management and control of the BAU, the role will also include significant involvement and leadership within change and innovation programs. This is a great and exciting opportunity for someone with ambition, drive, and hunger to push innovation and improve and challenge risk.


 

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • The day to day running of FX and Options Trade Controls functions in EMEA, covering Trade Entry / Validation into booking and downstream systems, managing lifecycle events, and resolving risk and PNL issues

  • Continuously building and maintaining relationships with Trading and Sales as well as partnering closely with Technology, Finance and Operations to ensure a truly seamless front-to-back service is provided to our Bank of America Clients.

  • Driving innovation and change both in process, risk management, culture and technology.

  • Be a key business stakeholder for re-platforming as well as the utilisation of robotics and AI opportunities to improve processes, control and bring efficiencies.

  • Working closely with relevant internal and external parties to ensure connectivity to Industry and Market initiatives.
