Senior Tax Advisor

Charlotte, North Carolina

Job Description:

Review of Accounting for Income Tax routines, including quarterly income tax forecasts, month-end legal entity income tax accruals, FIN 48 (tax reserve) accruals and Audited Financial/ Regulatory Reporting disclosures. The candidate will also have responsibilities for the review of annual return to provision calculations and the related calculation for the annual intercompany tax settlement.  The candidate will have direct communication with associates with varying levels of experience throughout the enterprise (TAC, GTP, Finance, Technology, Internal Audits, etc.) and with external service providers, so great communication and teamwork skills are critical to success.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher

  • 10+ years of public accounting firm or industry experience

  • Knowledge and working experience of ASC 740

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to analyze US GAAP accounting and tax laws

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work load in a dynamic environment in order to meet internal and external deadlines

  • Strong time management skills

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • CPA preferred

  • Corptax software experience

  • Experience with SAP general ledger platform

  • Emerging Technologies (ex: Tableau, Alteryx)

This role is posted as a Senior Tax Advisor, but can be filled as a Tax Advisor based on qualifications of a strong Tax Advisor.
