Job Title: Senior Business Control Specialist

Location: London, Chester or Dublin

We are currently looking to recruit for a Senior Business Control Specialist at either our London, Chester or Dublin offices within our Business Control & Process Management (BCPM) space. The role is part of a global team supporting risk management for the Technology teams, covering the functions of audit and regulatory exams, risk portfolio management, Quality Assurance, Business continuity.
 

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Manage the risks with the Technology teams in EMEA

  • Involves supporting the inspections and assessments done by the regulators in EMEA or by Corporate Audit or by external auditors (like PWC) or by Compliance & Operation Risk

  • Being the face of the Technology teams in front of the examiners and working with the subject matter expects to produce the responses and the evidences requested by the examiners

The Team:

Managing risk is a key component of Responsible Growth and is critical for our strategy. Our team is responsible of managing risk for the Technology teams in EMEA. Our Global team support David Reilly for GBAM-T and Tony Kerrison for CTI. In EMEA, our scope covers all the Technology teams in the region.

Core Skills:

  • Has knowledge of a Tier 1 Bank' Risk Framework and will have a good understanding of the concepts of risk & controls

  • A previous experience is supporting audits would be beneficial

  • Ability to communicate well and to build relationships with the multiple stakeholders and partners in and outside of Technology

  • Excellent communication skillset (written & verbal)

  • Broad understanding of technology infrastructure and applications
