Cyber Crime Senior Specialist

The Cyber Crime Prevention team mission is to proactively detect, disrupt, and mitigate the cybercrime ecosystem to protect our clients, customers and our brand. To support this mission, the Cyber Crime Partnerships team builds and maintains global partnerships with government and industry to enable quick and efficient cybercrime mitigation.

As part of the Cyber Crime Partnerships team you will serve as a senior Bank of America Cyber Crime Liaison Officer in the National Cyber Forensics and Training Alliance (NCFTA) headquarters in Pittsburgh. There you will optimise engagement with peer organizations, government, law enforcement, industry and the academic and research community to support national and international counter-cybercrime strategy and operations. 

The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Enhance information sharing, operational collaboration and capability development across the finance sector and other industry and government partners
  • Maintain an intimate working relationship with relevant Bank of America stakeholders to inform and focus your activity in NCFTA
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of global cybercrime threats to inform Bank of America and sector strategy

Required skills:

  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem solving skills, intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn
  • Demonstrated ability to share and collaborate, building consensus to drive projects with national and international impact
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Agility to manage multiple work efforts and to quickly change direction as needed
  • Experience collaborating across industry, law enforcement, government and the academic / research community 
  • Comprehensive understanding of the cybercriminal ecosystem
  • Ability to work with Technical and Non-Technical audiences

Desired Skills:

  • MSc/BSc in a technology or technology security related subject
  • Financial services products understanding and expertise
