Delivery Lead, Risk Technology

Job Description:

Responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivery of defined deliverables which usually requires engagement from multiple teams such as a project or smaller program. Communicates the work objectives, coordinates delivery, manages risks, ensures compliance to standards, and provides end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables. Ensures execution and delivery meets the client’s expectations in terms of the functionality, quality, timeline and cost. Coordinates and facilitates routines to support delivery – e.g. kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, tollgates, etc. Plans and coordinates delivery and dependencies with across multiple teams. Facilitates dependency management/risk management/impediment removal for the defined deliverables. Promotes/facilitates communication and collaboration across organizations to support the deliverable completion and timeline. Gathers/facilitates status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks/issues, and schedule. Ensures that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements by working with the sponsor/stakeholders. Ensures deliverables comply with Enterprise Change Management standards. Supports resource planning for delivery/execution. Individual Contributor.

Manages projects limited in scope to LOB products, processes or functions although some may have cross-functional or inter-departmental implications. Serves as secondary contact to senior department managers for critical change initiatives and provides assistance to staff. Partners with the business to develop and transition plans, including ongoing success measures, to sustain the change. Accountable for initiatives limited in scope to department products, processes or functions although some may have cross-functional or inter-departmental implications. Accountable for analyzing present-state, developing alternative future-state approaches and facilitating implementation. Plans, organizes, monitors and controls projects using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure efficient and effective project completion. Develop and socialize potential risk mitigation strategies. Effectively communicates with managers, peers and business partners on deliverables, timelines and support needed. Partners with the business to develop and transition plans, including ongoing success measures, to sustain the change. Responsible for Clarity and PCM updates and project documents. Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.

The Project Manager candidate will drive, facilitate and track planning and execution activities for medium to large sized technology projects.  This role will also demonstrate a deep understanding of the Enterprise Change standards and tools in order to implement and execute weekly Data Quality routines for the team, to ensure change standards and policies are being met on all projects, and required technology deliverables are delivered on time.

This includes but is not limited to:

•             Management of Key Milestones / MS Project Plan to track delivery and health of assigned projects

•             Enables end to end planning, delivery of quality outcomes and controls while mitigating risks in implementing strategic projects for Global Risk Analytics Technology.  These projects are complex with cross-functional, cross-LOB and vendor impacts.

•             Leverages Bank of America’s, Enterprise Change Framework Methodology from project definition through execution and control.

•             Reports and monitors project status/metrics to ensure deliverables are competed on-time with high quality

•             Communicates and resolves project data quality issues

•             Responsible for analyzing information, risks, and issues, ensuring that mitigation plans are executed against or escalated as needed

•             Stakeholder Management - incorporating stakeholder feedback and concerns, and ensuring stakeholder expectation and perceptions are managed

•             Responsible for documenting meeting minutes, actions, issues, roles, to drive timely accountability and resolution.

•             Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

•             Expert knowledge of Enterprise Change Standards and tools

•             Management of Data Quality and Leadership Routines

Required Skills:

•             Facilitates across multiple areas (business, operations, technology, key partners) to drive critical change initiatives

•             Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead project execution, prioritize work and meet deadlines.

•             Ability to manage and solve complex dependencies and negotiate compromise

•             Excellent communication skills - encompassing verbal, presentation and written, as well as influence, negotiation and conflict resolution

•             Ability to develop concise and succinct status reports with expertise in targeting the right level of information for business and technology stakeholders

•             Experience leading or participating in large or complex projects

•             Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

•             Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project

•             Candidate must be highly motivated, proactive and a self-starter

•             Strong attention to detail and data quality
