Quantitative Financial Analyst

Job Description:

Key Quantitative Analyst resource on the C++/Python Architecture development team.  The Analyst will:

  • Develop core library code for Python and C++ to support financial concepts

  • Support build configuration and other DevOps processes/integrations

  • Assist with the porting or integration of legacy processes into RESTful service and Database applications

  • Work alongside programming centric teams of Data Scientists and Modelers

Required Skills

  • Strong experience in C++ and Python

  • Strong knowledge of financial concepts

  • Experience using third party libraries in code base

  • Experience in Linux development stack and Visual Studio development

  • Experience using Source Code and Version Control systems (SVN, Git, etc.)

  • 2+ years of work experience in quantitative banking      

Desired Skills

  • Experience with Python Pandas library

  • Experience developing REST service applications

  • Experience working with Ticket Systems

  • Experience in participating in online Code Reviews

  • Experience in training junior programmers

  • Experience with JSON/XML/Protobuf

  • Experience with SQL

  • Knowledgeable of Networking
