VP / Director – Cross Credit Sales

Job Description:

Looking for an experienced VP/Director level salesperson to join the Credit Sales team. Candidate will be fluent across both Cash debt products and Derivatives (Macro Credit or similar macro experience). This salesperson will cover clients directly and work with senior members of the team in supporting the coverage of their clients while partnering with trading in the execution of trades, research with the development and marketing of trade ideas and capital markets in the execution of primary deal transactions.  This role also includes partnering with all the business units within credit to cross-sell products across the platform. The position is located on the trading floor. 

Overview

  • Works independently in the distribution of Credit products to assigned account base (In Global Credit with the primary focus in the Americas).
  • Develops new business relationships with select target accounts.
  • Determines which products best meet Client needs.
  • Develops new approaches to meet Client needs and market dynamics.
  • Analyzes different market relationships and current market conditions to increase account/market penetration.

Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess an entrepreneurial mindset where they are able to embrace technology to drive new ways of executing business, engaging clients and staying ahead of evolving market structures.   
  • Proven ability to work with peers and senior leaders across the credit businesses to develop and executes strategies for increased account connectivity and grow market share.
  • Proven track record in contributing to our firms enterprise building initiative and goal of responsible growth.
  • Ability to multi-task and have strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently; highly motivated and self-driven
  • Comfortable in fast-paced and changing environment, with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Strong PowerPoint, Word, Excel skill
  • Possess a strong work ethic which embraces attention to detail.
  • At least 6+ years of Fixed Income sales experiences with a focus on credit products
