Job Description

The Index Rebalance trading team is looking to hire a trader to join the team in Hong Kong. This role is open to Analyst/Associate level candidates.

Candidates will have primary focus on quantitative research and trading equities in all APAC markets.

This position is open to candidates with good knowledge on quantitative research and trading.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, develop and execute data-driven trading strategy

  • Daily tasks will include: research, backtesting, portfolio construction, trading, risk management, pre/post trade analysis

  • Interact with different trade desks and internal support teams to optimize trading strategy, process and platform

Job Requirements:

  • Prior experience in basket trading or index rebalance predictions preferred

  • Strong quantitative skills (e.g. factor optimization)

  • Good programming skills, preferable in Python

  • Experience with automating processes, ability to work with big data and translate it into trading ideas/models

  • Good understanding of equity products and market microstructure
