Job Description:

Electronic Trading combines sales and trading with cutting edge product development and data analytics.

The sales trading team is responsible for growing client business and coverage of all client trading activities

  • Building and owning top ranked relationships with traders / quants / technicians, closing account gaps
  • Helping and educating clients to intelligently access the complex and fragmented trading market and allow them to achieve multiple goals: access liquidity, reduce latency, implement strategies, improve trading access and performance
  • Servicing and monitoring clients live trading activity, giving pro-active advice, solving problems, helping their efficiency
  • Providing technical and market structure expertise, efficient market access, targeted content from all areas of the firm

This is a Market access sales trading role focused on top global Quant, Stat Arb, Market Maker, Broker Dealer accounts and Equity Exchanges trading Americas markets for US equities, CAD equities and futures.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience including (1)  client facing sales trading responsibilities, (2) technical capabilities with FIX, network and middle/back office knowledge / practical experience and (3) established market access relationships / familiarity with client segment.
  • Experience covering: (1) market access clients (quant, stat arb, market maker, broker dealer, exchanges/venues) and (2) cross market (US/CAD) / cross product (equities/futures)
  • Coordinate new revenue efforts on prospects and targets in conjunction with systematic / quant / BD sales and regional coverage teams
  • Day to Day interaction, relationship building, trading and technical coverage across market access channel
  • Leading content calls, roadshows and client desk and/or technical/quant reviews to build brand and identify opportunities with clients
  • Role requires experience and technical capabilities unique to market access clients who trade low latency, technical driven strategies based on their quant-driven and  proprietary trading nature
  • Familiarity with multiple execution channels (DMA, Market Access, ATS crossing, futures, US and CAD) and the prime brokerage/clearing function
