The Asia-Pacific Tactical Research Team is looking for a high performing junior analyst to assist the team.
The Team is tasked with identifying mispriced stocks, or those with high investor interest, that are not currently covered by existing Bank of America sector teams in the Asia-Pacific region.
The team develops commercial stock ideas through financial modelling, valuation analysis and company/industry research. It produces research reports for, and directly interacts with, the firm’s investor clients.
With a generalist and pan-regional remit, this role will provide the successful applicant with exposure to a wide range of stocks across multiple sectors and markets.
A minimum 1-2 years’ background in equities research
Important to this role is an inquiring nature and ability to think logically while expressing your views both clearly and in an engaging manner
Strong modelling and written communication skills are also essential including a demonstrated ability to write high quality, evidence-based projects or reports
A strong interest in financial markets, as well as emerging social and market trends.
Fluency (written and spoken) in English and Mandarin or English and Japanese is essential
Creative Thinking: Ability to generate new ideas and possibilities, and to see business opportunities from a novel perspective
Flexibility: The capacity to adapt approach in light of shifting priorities or changing conditions
Team Orientation / Teamwork / Collaboration: The willingness to work as a member of a team
