Job Description:

The Structured Product Sales Desk covers investor clients including Banks, Brokerdealers, RIAs, Wirehouses, Private Banks, Wealth Managers, Asset Managers and others for structured products linked to equity and hybrid product as well as cross-asset risk premia products. The position is a market and client facing role that requires execution, technical and market skills, a problem solving approach and ability to combine strategic analysis with tactical idea generation.

Responsibilities

  • Covering and prospecting clients and in daily functions of the desk
  • Assist in formulating, marketing and executing trade ideas
  • Gather competitive intelligence from the marketplace for use in trading strategies
  • Support marketing and development of index products and analysis on systematic strategies
  • You will be responsible for the trade execution process including trade booking and verification, exposure measurement, and follow-up
  • You will also provide marketing ideas and help initiate transaction - Strong communication skills, analytical background and proficiency with excel are a must
  • Candidates must be high energy, be motivated to take initiative and ownership of projects, and multi task in a fast paced trading desk environment, while paying attention to detail
  • Strong knowledge of Bloomberg, Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint · FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses are required for the role, but can be obtained after joining the team

Requirements

  • Must be entrepreneurial with strong analytical, quantitative and communication skills. You should be someone who thrives on the challenge of competitive pressures. You should also be able to remain focused on client needs and work well with colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
  • High acumen in asset classes, volatility products and markets
  • Good existing client relationships needed
  • Minimum 5 years work experience and 3 years of structured product, derivatives, trading platform or related field required
  • Background in programming / strong foundation in VBA/macro in excel a big plus
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills a must
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint required
  • Bachelor's degree required
