Responsibilities:

  • Client Coverage & Execution

  • Cover a range of clients (Hong Kong Institutions, Private Banks) across a variety of products (Credit, Rates, etc)

  • Able to price/quote/trade government/corporate bonds, swaps

  • Be able to handle up to 100 trades a day

  • Update clients on new issues (across multiple time zones)

  • Write regular market updates

  • Work with research (in NY, London and Asia) on providing analysis to clients

Assist with Onboarding:

  • Conduct KYC checks and AML refreshes for clients. Act as liaison between client and integration team

  • Liaise with US Doc/operations on give account request DN

  • Check docs ISDA, submit ISDA request, follow up

  • Check HKPI, HKTR, DF, UMR, EMIR & MIFID checks.

Trade bookings and trade related admin issues:

  • Book trades for teammates when necessary

  • Take on ad hoc projects to improve daily routine and team efficiency

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree required

  • 2-4 years of experience in finance and equities field, will also consider candidate with private equity and banking background

  • Strong energy and attitude to manage the difficulty of dealing with contacts all over the world on a daily basis

  • Independent thinker and willing to learn from a bench of sales people

  • Strong analytical skills and confident to take on a client facing role

  • English fluency is essential and Cantonese fluency would be an advantage
