We are currently recruiting for a junior securitisation analyst to join the Structured Finance Origination segment within our Global Mortgages team. This team is focused on originating and structuring both public and private securitisations backed by a range of asset classes including residential mortgages and commercial and consumer assets. The securitisation & warehouse credit market in Sydney is extremely active and this role will offer the successful applicant a chance to develop their skills and network in this space with a market leading team.

Key Duties

  • Perform extensive due diligence on the credit policies and lending guidelines of bank and non-bank lenders
  • Assist in establishing & executing securitisation programs and arrange access to capital markets for banks, corporates and non-bank lenders
  • Interact with law firms, rating agencies, accountants, investors and conduct due diligence and credit and market risk assessments
  • Extensive market research into residential property, consumer credit, automotive, equipment and Small and Medium Enterprise(SME) lending
  • Assist in preparing client pitch books, marketing materials, internal credit papers, analysing risk and modelling structured credit transactions

Background

  • 1 - 3 years experience within securitisation, structured finance, debt markets, illiquid credit asset classes
  • Finance and/or law related degree
  • Keen interest in continuing your career in a role which has both a client-facing component and where you will be analysing large sets of complex financial data and producing accurate models
  • Be able to clearly articulate complex financial concepts, liaise with internal and external stakeholders, assess and analyse risk
  • Desire to work in a collaborative team environment
