Venture Services Group (VSG) is a 40+ person team of experienced professionals, led by three Managing Directors, focused on servicing the needs of the Private Equity and Venture Capital community. The team provides custody and in-kind distribution services to 400+ Funds, and operates in a fast paced environment in 6 offices nationwide. We are seeking a client associate with 1+ years of professional experience and a good attitude to add to our client service team in Phoenix, AZ
This Venture Services Group Client Associate (CA) role is an operations support position, providing dedicated operational support to a 40+ person team. Incumbents will support office initiatives, primarily in the onboarding and maintenance of client accounts. The position is a full-time opportunity.
Undergraduate degree preferred, Minimum of 1+ years professional or relevant internship experience required.
Strong client service & technical skills (MS Word & Excel)
Strong communication, time management and organizational skills are required
Ability to prioritize work and meet timelines
Strong ability to lead major projects, programs or processes involving cross-functional teams
Ability to build and implement or socialize the best practices at all levels
Ability to utilize sound business judgment and tailors approach to drive optimal business outcomes
Proven ability to manage multiple, differentiated tasks simultaneously

Standard Job Description: The role is a sales support position, typically providing dedicated operational and sales support to multiple Financial Advisors (FAs). Incumbents may also on a regular basis support office initiatives, in addition to the businesses of particular FAs. For established clients, the CA will often serve as the most frequent point of contact with Merrill Lynch. Fully registered CA (Series 7 & 66 (63/65)).
