Global Banking & Markets division serves mid- to large-sized corporations and institutional clients worldwide. It is comprised of Business Banking, Global Commercial Banking, Global Corporate & Investment Banking, Global Markets and Wholesale Credit. Aligned with these client-facing groups are Global Capital Markets and Global Research.  The Shared Technology Platforms is a portfolio under the GBAMT Strategy, Architecture and Core Platforms portfolio.  The portfolio is responsible for designing, building and maintaining high performing software systems that are used by the Global Banking and Markets Technology employees globally.  These are Technology for Technology tools that cater to varying project management needs including but not limited to forecasting, hiring, resource lifecycle management etc

Job Description:

Strong Offshore delivery manager for a transformation project involving multiple streams and emerging technologies like Pega BPM, Workflow, Machine Learning, Seibel and Robotics.

Responsibilities

  • Establishing and managing multiple projects end to end to collectively deliver desired business outcomes.
  • Responsible for end-to-end technology delivery of the assigned project and is the primary point of escalation for technology issues.
  • Get hands dirty with the details of the projects, applications and scope. Understand the design, architecture and the scope to be delivered and manage the end to end delivery progress aligned to the timelines and quality.
  • Highlight and escalate risks appropriately.
  • Manage bank and vendor teams and their deliverables with people and performance management responsibilities
  • Be instrumental in operational efficiency improvements, process reengineering, and infrastructure upgrade and deployments, CI ,CD.
  • Will also be responsible for project financials partner closely with Line of Business leadership  teams to provide updates on technology deliverables.
  • Drive innovation within the teams.
  • Drives overall technology execution and manages line of business stakeholder relationships and acts as their advocate throughout the life of the project.
  • Accountable for analyzing present-state, developing alternative future-state approaches and facilitating implementation.
  • Accountable for hiring and building the talent within the teams
  • Plans, organizes, monitors and controls projects using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure efficient and effective project completion. Develop and socialize potential risk mitigation strategies.
  • Effectively communicates with the team, managers, peers and business partners on deliverables, timelines and support needed.
  • Partners with the business to develop and transition plans, including ongoing success measures, to sustain the change.
  • Strong program management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines and work across work streams seamlessly

Requirements

  • Education: B.E./ B. Tech/M.E./M. Tech/BSC/MSC/BCA/MCA (prefer IT/CS specialization)
  • Certifications If Any: Pega CSA/CSSA ( Desirable), Safe Agile, Scrum Master
  • Experience Range: 8 - 11 yrs

Foundational Skills: 

  • At least 8+ years of End-2-End Project Management experience in an emerging technology.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and certify.
  • PMP certification a plus, Bachelor’s degree preferred. Familiarity with sAFE 4.0 Lean-Agile methodology a plus. Experience managing Pega/Seibel is a plus
  • Strong Program management experience, ability to lead a team and drive to results.
  • Technology strength in emerging technologies – BPM, Pega, Machine learning, RPA etc.
  • Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must possess analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi task and handle multiple roles.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Self-driven personality rather than being told what to do.
  • Strong project financial management skills
  • Good eye for talent and eye for details in delivery
  • Strong vendor management experience
  • Guides projects through all phases, ensuring processes are followed, required documents are completed, and required tracking systems are kept updated
  • Develops and manages to project plan
  • Identifies, assigns, tracks, escalates, and resolves issues
  • Experience in tracking the tasks and progress of a major project, escalating and resolving issues, planning for and managing resources and funding. Holds resources accountable for deliverables on time and budget
  • Schedules and facilitates regular meetings to review progress and status, and ad hoc topical meetings; formulates agendas and documents minutes, action items. etc.
  • Ability to provide project status on deliverables or escalate issues to sr. leaders and executives
  • Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) proficient
  • Strong analytical skills
  • A proactive approach to problem solving and think innovatively
