Job Title: Feature Lead - Quants

Here in our London office we are looking to recruit for a Feature Lead within our FICC Rates Technology space. The role will be to build and maintain strategic intraday risk platform and maintain strategic market making and monitoring platform for EMEA Linear Rates desk. This is a front office role with direct interaction with the trading & quants team, trade support as well as the larger IT community that supports the trading desks.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Analyse business requirements for functionality that exists in legacy systems and design solutions to replace it in the target architecture.

  • Provide 3rd line development support for our production applications and to be fully engaged in the development lifecycle of the project including supporting UAT and regression testing

  • Problem-solving, design, development, debugging skills and enjoys solving complex technical problems.

  • Align resources to business requests and establish clearly defined duties

  • Ensure all applicable change requirements are satisfied and quality assurance is carried out

  • Provide techno-functional leadership to the team including design and architecture

  • This role requires a combination of high technical skill around python, JAVA, HDFS, distributed computing, real time messaging and analytics

  • Good understanding of the front office market risk and PL

  • Front office rates business knowledge

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Stakeholder management

  • Intraday real time risk experience
