Issue Management Specialist - Payments Technology

Position Summary

This role will help write risk issues and also manage the remediation of open risk and audit issues, in partnership with impacted Technology and Line of Business teams.  Responsibilities include:
•-Reporting weekly on issue management portfolio and current status
•-Working closely with Risk leads on tasks in-flight and remediation plans
•-Working in partnership with Technology teams on control gap solutions and ensuring proper evidence/artifacts are gathered to close issue
•-Presenting at various Risk forums to provide updates on risk/audit issue statuses
•-Standing up and managing controls/routines for new compliance deliverables

Required Skills

•-3+ years of Audit/Issue Management experience
•-Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
•-Strong communication and meeting/workgroup facilitation skills, willing to present on large Risk forums
•-Highly organized and self-motivated, willingness to dig in to drive results
•-Independent learner who is fearless in taking on new challenges and challenge status quo
•-Ability to participate in cross-functional teams and ability to work effectively in a geographically dispersed team
•-Competency with Microsoft Office:  Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word
•-Experience with reporting on Key Risk Indicators

Desired Skills

•-Information Technology degree
•-Strong technical background/work experience
•-PMP Certified
•-Prior Bank of America experience
