Product Manager: Pre-paid Card

Has responsibility for developing and executing the strategy for the prepaid card business.  This individual will be responsible for setting the future plan for the prepaid business, driving the product strategy, relaying the strategy to senior executives for their support and approval, and resourcing the appropriate team to implement and manage the prepaid solution set.  Due to the highly regulated environment of the prepaid business, this individual will face off with legal, compliance, and audit to ensure the prepaid business is within the guidelines of policy and regulations set by regulators and policy.  This individual will have extensive functional knowledge of how prepaid cards work in both the public sector and corporate space and can use this knowledge to drive the most efficient way of delivering a sound business strategy, enabling clients to understand the direction of the business and support our common goals.

Required Skills:

  • Must have 8 years experience in the prepaid card industry

  • Must have understanding/working knowledge of the prepaid payment process from a cardholder and corporate perspective.

  • Must understand the needs of current global Treasurers and CFOs that would be buying these products

  • Must be able to present to senior level executives and business partners and have good verbal and clear communication skills

  • Must have ability to work in a fast paced, cross-functional environment.

  • Must have product launch and sunset experience and have ability to drive the process with business partners in a partner based model of internal and vendor partners.

  • Must have experience leading a team

  • Must have experience managing vendors

  • Self-motivated 

  • Must have working knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, Excel

  • BA/BS Degree
