Few functions have the reach, cross asset and regional interaction as this team, making it solid platform to continually learn, experience and grow within a challenging, deep and fulfilling position with future growth and development potential.

  • Advancing BofA Global Research’s push into new media, particularly podcasts, plan and schedule recordings, scheduling and planning video shoots.
  • Continuing BofA Global Research’s drive into social media—the department is currently providing research content to GBAM in the form of charts and brief research blurbs but we desire to expand our social media presence where it makes sense.
  • Writing FAQs on topics that can be interesting to audiences and drive search traffic to our websites.
  • Creativity when it comes to new ways to present research ideas and complicated subjects to the general reader, using charts and layouts to explain a story and appeal to audiences.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Proficient use Microsoft products – Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Knowledge of the Excel charting functions especially helpful.  Training on other applications provided
  • An understanding of and interest in financial markets and key themes driving them today and potentially driving them in the future.
  • The ability to write compelling copy for generalist readers based on material that can be difficult to understand.
  • Excellent organizational skills as there are often many projects happening at once.

  • Skilled in building strong relationships across multiple lines of business and levels throughout the firm
  • Attention to detail with a strong self-checking discipline
  • Ability to understand the business needs and work both independently and within a team environment
  • Effective communication skills – eg. Ability to tailor and distil messages to different audiences
  • Team player, organized and reliable, ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure, strong work ethic and perseverance to continually deliver
