To provide support to senior bankers in the management of client relationships across the Nordics portfolio, including origination, structuring and execution across a diverse range of product areas.
As a core member of the Nordics Corporate Banking team you will:
Gain an in-depth understanding of our clients, the industries in which they operate and how the bank helps support both their growth aspirations and day-to-day banking requirements
Structure, prepare and deliver content led presentations
Assist in the development of client specific analysis (e.g. capital structure, credit ratings analysis and acquisition financing) including detailed financial models
Develop core credit skills including learning how to calculate, prepare and interpret key financial metrics
Provide market informed judgements on a broad array of financing strategies to address client specific needs
Actively work on the live execution of transactions including gaining familiarity with the legal and documentation aspects of various debt instruments and directly engaging with clients
Manage and mentor junior professionals in the context of deal executions, marketing pitches and general career development
Work closely with Investment Banking teams on client coverage and origination
Core skills - Required and Preferred
Strong mathematical and analytical skills are required
Proficient level of MS Excel and PowerPoint
Fluency in English is essential and a second language from one of the Nordics countries a plus
Meticulous attention to detail, diligence and conscientiousness
Ambitious, with a strong desire to succeed
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Capable of working effectively both independently and with multiple teams/individuals
Educated to degree level (preferably in a numerical discipline such as economics or finance)
