Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver against financial targets for assigned FIG portfolio in both revenue and new business
  • Establish and deepen relationships with FI and NBFI clients to maximize share of wallet both at HO, regional offices and international branches
  •  Leverage client relationships to build strong connectivity and on-going dialogue with targeted clients
  • Ensure timely resolution of relationship-sensitive client servicing issues within the organization and act as the senior escalation point in relationship-sensitive key service issues
  • Act as the coordinator for APAC NBFI business in various client segments (i.e. Insurance, Broker Dealers, Asset Management companies, Private Equity) for APAC region
  • Co-ordinate with global teams to effectively drive the global strategy and guidance on the FI business in APAC in light of the changing regulatory and economic environment
  • Build interactions with stakeholders across FICC, GMG, IBK, CBK, in-country management, regionally and globally, communicating the FI strategy and achievements on new business, revenues, client selection and revenue quality
  • Lead and participate discussions with teams, clients through Treasury Exchanges, Industry Forums and thought leadership articles to demonstrate the deep understanding of global events driving the business change in the franchise
  • Communicate/update effectively with APAC leaders, Ex-co members and op-co participants on deals, products and market and client developments within the franchise
  • Implement and sustain governance and control processes and activities in alignment with role and responsibilities, governance manuals and guidelines as well as specifically within the areas of Credit, Risk, Compliance, Finance, Legal, HR and Audit

Requirements

  • Relevant cash and trade sales or relationship management experience within a top tier international bank
  • Proven track record in managing complex cash and trade deals for FI and NBFI clients
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, both English and Mandarin Chinese (preferable)
  • Strong presentation skills, inter-personal and organizational skills
  • Able to successfully develop and maintain collaborative working relationships
  • Strong financial skills
  • Strong client engagement skills with an unwavering focus on client satisfaction and growing business
  • A strong team player who understands how to leverage various businesses functions/partners to drive business growth and support the US client management and sales teams
  • Willing to travel cross-regions and within the region.
  • Knowledge of Corporate Treasury functions
