Here in our Dublin office we are looking to recruit for a Software Engineer within our Global Finance Reg Reporting Technology space. The BAU/Ongoing Reg (Tech & Infrastructure) Team and is responsible for the GIS, Risk, and Mandatory Infrastructure deliverables for EMEA Regulatory Reporting platform.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Responsible for developing, enhancing, modifying and/or maintaining applications (primarily through Axiom) in the Global Markets environment.
Ensuring that systems and applications support confirm to business needs and specifications. Collaborating with software testers to develop valid test plans and test scripts
Develop new features in our strategic platforms.
In addition, you will may occasionally be providing third level support for the applications.
Be expected to gain an understanding of the business data domain and perform analysis when necessary.
The team provides global technology solutions for core finance functions such as general ledger, accounts payable, fixed assets, client profitability, corporate tax, planning/forecasting, funds transfer pricing, and regulatory reporting. The team and its business partners are located throughout the world.
The Software Engineer will join the Finance Technology team, based in Dublin with a proven track record working on large scale multi-year enterprise technology programs/projects. This position is for an experienced software engineer with a strong ability to build business-critical systems with a keen eye on stability and performance
Master’s degree or relevant experience
Extensive experience with Axiom technologies.
Experience with Database (Oracle & SQL Server) and writing MySQL or PLSQL queries
Quick learner and self-starter who requires minimal supervision to excel in a dynamic environment
Excellent communication skills. Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals
Microsoft Suite-Excel, Word, Power point
Good team player
Excellent organizational skills and attention to details
Fluency in English
Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
High degree of initiative and motivation
Quick learner and interest in taking on new responsibilities
Comfortable with change and adjust to changing demands and requirements
