Corporate Title: Vice President

Location:  Paris, France

Role Description:

Reporting to the EMEA Regional Head of GBAM AML working as part of the EMEA team responsible for Law Rule and Regulation and Governance.

  • Drive and execute AML oversight activities for BofASE, coordination of Leadership Reporting for BofASE

  • Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of Enterprise and Regional AML policy and standards; Global Banking and Markets products / business and operations processes.

  • Independently drive impact assessment and implementation of system; people; processes and control infrastructure for complex volume of AML regulatory changes within EMEA region.

  • Facilitate communication of impact and changes to EMEA Regional stakeholders. 

  • Be a subject matter expert for Anti Money Laundering issues within EMEA Region, engage and collaborate closely with Regional and Global Stakeholders within GFC; Operations and Front Line Units to drive solutions with a 360 view.

  • Act as a point of contact in the region for

  • Key AML technology and process-control projects and initiatives;

  • Analysing end to end process, identifying thematic issues for resolution.

  • Any other business matters related to AML that may arise during course of usual business.

The Team:

Global Banking & Markets Anti-Money Laundering (GBAM AML) organization provides oversight for key GBAM AML deliverables, working closely with 2nd and 3rd line control functions to ensure timeliness and accuracy of the AML Program.

Core Skills:

  • Experienced in one of the following, AML policy and standards, operational risk / ops excellence will also consider candidates with legal background.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence; must be able to appropriately convey ideas, concerns and opinions across differing levels of organization and build relationships.

  • Demonstrate strong risk orientation; challenge status quo and is passionate to drive change.

  • Proactive and self-motivated, able to manage competing priorities; make timely and fact based decisions.

  • Highly organized and demonstrate a bias for action and a commitment to achieving sustainable results.

  • Is intellectually curious; constantly seeks to learn and advance his/her knowledge

  • Results driven with attention to detail

  • Strong teamwork skills in a global and regional setting.

  • Preferred languages: Fluent in English, French is a plus.
