Job Description:

Position Summary

Feature Lead role in implementing security functions for client facing channels (including brokerage clients, trust clients and retirement clients). Need to lead development and support to provide authentication and authorization functions to clients. Develops, enhances, debugs, supports, maintains and tests software applications that support business units or supporting functions. May provide technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives. Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource and expert in UI as well as Server side technologies. May drive a project or a solution and partner with various external teams including external developers, business and deployment teams. Provides technical direction and oversight on creation of applications from E2E (end to end) perspective. Ensuring systems design, business requirements, and architecture of solution is well understood by involved parties and responsible for overall delivery of software products. As appropriate, contributes to budget and forecast activities, monitors team progress, and works with Team Manager to adjust resource allocations and priorities accordingly.

Required Skills

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related field plus 5 years of experience
• In lieu of Master’s degree, Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of post-baccalaureate progressive experience.
• Knowledge of using one or multiple J2EE application servers
• Experience in Unix, Websphere Portal Server, Java; WebSphere Application Server 6.x, IBM Data Stage, RAD, WebSphere MQ,  JavaScript, JMS, JUnit, XML, HTML
• Expert Knowledge on  Spring , Java , Groovy .
• Familiar with RDBMS and NoSQL Databases.
• Deep understanding of OO design is a must.
• Experience with the development models such as Agile and SDLC.
• Responsible for creating and testing stored procedures on Oracle database.
• Knowledge of test driven development.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks and adapt to a constantly changing environment.
• Familiar with development tools Perforce, SVN, Maven, and Eclipse.May collaborate with external programmers to coordinate delivery of software application.
• Experience with Agile Development
• Strong facilitation and communication skills - both verbal and written – is a must
• Strong track record of building high-volume mission critical pricing and risk engines with emphasis on modular services
• Knowledge on Application Security and Standards

Desired Skills

• Authentication and Authorization models and architecture
• Encryption, Hashing and other software security mechanism.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (JIRA) is a big plus
• Familiarity with Jira, BitBucket (Git based), Jenkins open source Cloudbees, Ansible Tower is a plus
